Is there anything you wish the media would leave alone?

That’s a very fragile question, you know what I mean? I would say it’s that I always get asked the same questions, especially “The Hills” and “Laguna Beach” stuff. It’s sort of like, that was 10 years ago. Let’s move on!

What do you miss being able to do without being photographed?

That’s the joy about being in Chicago. I can do all of that stuff like grocery shopping without being photographed! So I’m a happy girl being here.

Best and worst part of life in the Midwest?

The best parts are that I don’t have to deal with all of that paparazzi crap and the people are so friendly and great here. The worst part is the winter. I’m all about fall and spring is great but once November comes it’s brutal.

Last romantic thing your husband, Jay Cutler, did you for?

I didn’t feel well last week so he took over dinner which was really great.

So he can cook!

Yeah, he’s a pretty good cook. He’ll take care of Cam and lets me just relax.

How has your relationship with Jay changed since having your son?

Those first few months are hard because you’re so tired. I had Cam in August which is right when football season is starting so I really did have him to myself for the first five months, that was a little bit difficult. It’s funny, I don’t know who said having a baby brings you closer together because when you’re tired you just get bitchy so it definitely does not! [Laughs] But he’s such an amazing, hands-on dad and seeing that is so great. We are really great at being a team and sharing the responsibilities.

What were Camden’s first words?

His first word was “Dada” but he didn’t even know what it meant. He says mom now!

Did Jay have a pick-up line when you first met?

I will tell you what really happened. I got a call from my publicist that Jay wanted to fly me out to Chicago and take me out. I didn’t know who he was! I had to google him. I was in the middle of filming “The Hills” so I was like, “I don’t want a boyfriend in Chicago,” and passed on it. A year later I was here visiting my mom and we ended up going to a pre-season game. I had forgotten all about it and my mom said, “Didn’t Jay Cutler ask you out?” Long story short I ended up meeting him and when he walked in I was like, “Oh my goodness!” I thought he was really cute.

How did you know he was the one?

I’m usually pretty cool and confident around people but when I like somebody I get really nervous and shy. The instant I saw him I couldn’t speak. He was exactly what I was looking for at the time. I was looking for a man and in L.A. it’s all boys so he came around at the right time. He was just the sweetest, most down-to-earth and loyal guy.

You guys spend time in Nashville. Is country music rubbing off on you?

Yeah, we have a house there. Jay has gotten me into country music. When I first started dating him I was like, “There is no way I’ll ever listen to country music!” but now I really like it.

Are many of your girlfriends starting families now too?

I’m the first out of my good, good friends. I’ve made a lot of mom friends now but I actually just found out one of my best friends is pregnant! I’m really excited about that.

You look great and seem to be looking more and more fit as the years go by.

I’ll tell you exactly what it is. I’ve never eaten this healthy, worked out this consistently and not had any alcohol like I’ve been doing since having the baby. I honestly think it’s the alcohol. I rarely drink and everyone compares pictures of me to when I was 22 and drank. I’m almost 27 now so it’s like comparing to my college years when I had my ‘freshman 15’ you could call it and I ate like crap. I swear to God having a baby completely changed by body. I’ve talked to a lot of women who had the same thing happen. I now have to try to keep weight on opposed to trying to lose it before.

If you could have a drink with anyone, who would it be?

Kate Moss. I want to go to London, I feel like that’s her thing. Let her take me out!

We know you’re not drinking alcohol but what would you want to drink with Kate?

Listen, occasionally I will have a drink! I always drink vodka sodas or just a glass of red wine. Pretty boring. I do drink occasionally just nothing compared to what I used to before. You can’t when you have to wake up at 7 a.m. with the baby.

Sometimes we get a headache from just two drinks.

So do I! And when you have a baby, it is not worth it … See, now those were all different questions!
