Yung Pueblo has a way with words. The poet and speaker uses meditation to cultivate a deep connection to self and brings pen to paper to document his findings. He is the author of two works of poetry and short prose: “Inward,” published in 2018 and “Clarity & Connection,” published in April of this year. Originally from Ecuador, he grew up in Boston and chose the pen name Yung Pueblo to mean young people, which he has said pays a tribute to the power of youth and liberation. His 1.4 million followers on Instagram turn to his page, filled with simple shots of text against white backdrops, to escape the standard trappings of the photo platform and instead find refuge amidst their own personal transformation journeys.
